Okay, the Phillies lost to the Yankees. Bummer, but it was a good series. I’m proud of the Phils.

The Michigan Wolverine football team is another matter. The season ended today, appropriately with our sixth consecutive loss to Ohio State. Ugh!

The U-M basketball team is 3-0. Yeah!

The Philadelphia Phillies are midway through their quest to repeat as World Series champions. I have been a huge fan since I was a kid on vacation visiting historical sites of the 18th century. I fell in love with the City of Brotherly Love and adopted all of their sports teams (though I also root for Detroit teams). People have all but ignored the Phillies this year despite the fact that they are the defending champs. My guess is they'll finish off the Dodgers and face stiff competition from the Yankees. I love October!
